"my own coming of age movie" is a combination of new and old songs. The theme with this record was meant to be calling back to my teenage years, around when I started this project, to wallow in the childish edginess and naive dreams of love and adventure. The songs on this record are simpler, more poppy, but still with all the life on the island signatures - tons of guitars, 12 strings, bells, reed organs, horns, and double drums.
